The database team is excited to announce the achievement of a significant milestone: 500 gene loss annotations have been completed in the first round of annotation efforts. This accomplishment includes over 250 annotations specifically involving marine mammals (cetaceans and pinnipeds), contributing valuable insights to the study of these species.
