"For species such as Jaculus jaculus (exon 2), Lycaon pictus, Canis lupus dingo, Canis lupus familiaris, Dasypus novemcinctus and Condylura cristata (exon 1), although we were able to map the reference exon to the corresponding genomic sequence, dissimilarities between the mapped exon and the latter, didn’t allow us to infer with certainty that the aligned genomic portion corresponded to a CORT exon. Thus, we tagged these annotations as “Bad Alignment” (see Table S1)." |
